Thanksgiving was spent up on the farm with my dear friend Jeannie and my sister Anna. We did the 2 mile climb straight up to Stony Ledge and then assembled a dinner of yummy vegetables from the farm and had our baker Jenna, her mom and her son over for food, fire and games. It was a day to be thankful. I was so grateful for Jeannie making the long journey up to the farm. Her prescence was so restful for me. Anna and I spent 2 weeks farm planning. We shall see where it leads. We both leave for different lands with the hope that at some point our paths will merge again as we pursue the dream of farming. Until then I leave the beauty of the Berkshires to return to the warmth of Baltimore.
