Exploring and rest
My rest time is now ending and it has been good...I encountered my new town...complete with a cute coffee shop and a good bookstore...and lots of lovely benches which i used as my own personal phone booths this weekend. Currently i delight that it takes me 15 mins to get into town and contact the outside world...maybe that will wear thin eventually. Today in spending time reading I came upon wise words...
"If one burdens the future with one's worries it cannot grow organically." ~Etty Hillesum~
Something that felt wise and appropriate to the world i am currently apart of...the cold wet rainy sunday seems to be moving out. I am gathered with my makeshift community in our room with the pellet stove...we are gathered doing our own seperate things. I marvel at how easy it is to form family spaces with people...today we talked briefly about absolute truth. Something I think I struggle with. What is absolute truth...when we are all called to listen to the leanings of our own hearts. The term creates an aversion within my being, and yet i know I believe in Truth...yet it is how one defines it that is rather troublesome to me. Tommorrow begins a new week. Filled with good work and lots of beans.

Beans but no kale? Your pictures are beautiful and it seems like an amazing landscape.

I see the right hand in that picture of you...I can't imagine what the left hand is doing!

Honestly, truthfully, I only pressed the "PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT" once.
