So yesterday I left the "Greatest City in America", again. Beginning another leg of my journey of life. I left with high spirits, good words with my physical therapists and all good-byes said. And though excited about my next step in life...I leave with a bit of heaviness...in awe of the amazing souls I have found there. (I believe Baltimore has an abundance of good people. Maybe a depressed city creates wonderful people...somehow the people who dwell in Baltimore are strong and solid and beautiful.) I have been fed and cared for by so many people I love...and have had long walks and good talks to close my time with them. I am now in Pennsylvannia with my parents, halfway to the farm, excited and a little unsure how to make sure I stay warm in my small abode, and not overpack or underpack...and wondering what books am I just going to want to read while I am living on the land...not sure so a few are coming...
A Ring of Endless Light-because Madeline L'Engle can always soothe my soul
Etty Hillesum: An Interrupted Life-because she is a Kindred Soul.
The Art of the Common Place-by Wendell Berry, because I feel I cannot embark upon this new space without his wisdom...
And then I have some pencils and paper, and my guitar...as I have great hopes of maybe really learning to play this time....
So this is my public Farewell....Good-bye to you all and the beautiful spaces you have created for me...

Good-bye to my home for 2 months
